March 3, 2008, San Antonio, Texas. Derek Obialo successfully terminating deportation proceedings in favor of a 23-year old mother of a 3-year old USC in custody and facing mandatory detention and expedited deportation to a country she did not know. The proceeding was permanently terminated and she was unconditionally released and given a shot at U.S. citizenship.
